BP Oil Spill Crisis
4/20/11 -- One year anniversary of disaster.
Effects of BP Oil Spill Still Plague Gulf Communities and Beyond
Yellowstone River latest victim of oil spill…
Last Saturday, news broke of an oil spill in the Yellowstone River in Montana. While impact was downplayed (especially in comparison to the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf)…it has quickly developed into another toxic mess for the environment as Exxon closes ranks. 42,000 gallons have been released.
It’s the economy stupid!
Jobs…money…debt… Enough partisan talk in Washington. Make it work!
It Couldn’t Happen Here?
As the nuclear plants in Japan shuddered from tsunami flood waters and an earthquake, we watched in horror. How could it happen?
More to the point…how could it not? Nothing is foolproof.

Not necessarily, but front page headlines have disappeared and, with them, the urgency around what has been called “the largest spill in U.S. history” and “the biggest ever accidental release of oil into an ocean.”
A spill is just a spill
Is it possible that Donald Trump understands the world on a much deeper level than the rest of us? In a recent quote, the real-estate tycoon-presidential-hopeful commented, “A spill is going to happen…” but one trip to the Gulf and you’d know that this is not the attitude of someone who understands the human impact of such an event.
New Oil Detected in Gulf
Is it possible that more oil is leaking into the Gulf? In the face of all that’s going on the world today, the BP oil spill is resurfacing.
